During the lockdown, my balcony was my connection to the outside, but not completely. As the isolation became more present than ever, my balcony also transformed into a metaphor for being and not being. In my county's contest, I always felt isolated and limited to the ‘outside’. With the pandemic, it became double isolation. My balcony was my support and my link to that 'outside', yet it never left my room.
The space created represents the balcony, between the room on the canvas and the glass with the view from the outside.
