This installation serves as an extension of the painting "Little Pink Clouds". Building on previous works that explore the interplay between the human form and the mutable aspects of nature, this project shifts the human presence from the canvas to that of a solitary observer of a potential landscape. The installation presents the painting alongside structures of semi-transparent material called "Blue Ladders," arranged as a suspended ladder descending from the ceiling of the Boxing Club.

The genesis of this concept grew organically from my desire to expand my research into future landscapes, with additional inspiration from Richard Hamblyn's book "Clouds: Nature and Culture," particularly the final chapter, "Future Clouds." This chapter explores cloud-seeding technology and raises complex questions about ownership and the moral dilemmas of manipulating the essence of clouds, prompting contemplation of a future in which human control extends to the skies.

The choice of a ladders as a symbol in the installation represents humanity's aspiration to ascend and dominate the skies, reflecting our human-centered worldview where the sky is treated as a canvas to be altered for our convenience. The semi-transparent material in front of the painting alludes to a world that has been subtly altered by human actions, challenging our perceptions and emphasizing the delicate balance between nature and humanity.

In addition, I have always been fascinated by the space of the Boxing Club, especially the ceiling and its cracks. The decision to hang the stairs from the ceiling was intentional - I wanted the viewer to instinctively look up, engage with the work, and at the same time notice the cracks, turning the ceiling into a symbol of the ground. In this narrative, the viewer, situated amidst the clouds, becomes an integral part of the artistic experience.
