Glitch Ecologies: Glitch Bodies

The open studio presents works and ongoing artistic research, “Glitch Ecologies: Glitch Bodies,” made during a three-month residency in Paris, March-May 2026, as one of three laureates of the first edition of Shtëpi, a residency program developed in collaboration between the National Gallery of Kosovo and Cité Internationale des Arts.

“Glitch Ecologies: Glitch Bodies” is an ongoing project that builds on my ongoing interest in memory, ecology, and archives, but extends it into a research-based exploration of “glitch” as both method and metaphor. My recent experiments with glitch aesthetics extend this exploration into digital space, where bodies become fragmented, distorted, and recomposed, suggesting that archives, just like bodies, are unstable, incomplete, and constantly shifting.
