Body Painting, Photography

2019

Painting myself served as a form of spiritual reflection — a journey held within the incubator of an image, existing in tension between socially constructed frames of presentation and an inner sense of identity.

The paint in the body narrates. Within this space, I explored the act of representation not as a display of what is expected or imposed, but as a resistance to it — an attempt to redefine how the self can be seen and felt beyond prescribed boundaries.
